How the studio works.

Mirror Mirror is small on purpose. Single chair, single stylist, unhurried appointments — here's the thinking behind it.

Why one chair

A salon that runs on attention.

I made one decision early on: I would never run a chair that wasn't fully mine. No double-booking, no second guest in foils across the room, no junior stylist taking the blow-dry. If you're in the chair, you have my full attention — and if you're not, I'm preparing for you.

Hands working
Time as a service

Slow is the point.

Most salons price by service; we price by service and time. The difference: you'll never feel rushed off the chair to make room for the next foil.

If your hair needs a 90-minute appointment, we book a 90-minute appointment. If a custom color needs a 4-hour block, we block 4 hours. The work is what it is — the quality follows.

Consultation
Always before colour

The consultation, every time.

A free 15-minute conversation before any colour appointment. We talk about goals, history, hair condition, and a realistic plan to get you where you want to go.

The best transformations rarely happen in one visit. Mapping the route ahead of time means you'll never be surprised by a price, a process, or what's possible — and your hair stays healthy along the way.

Integrity of the hair
Healthy hair, first

The hair decides.

If a service is going to harm the integrity of your hair, I'll tell you — even if it costs the appointment. Especially if it costs the appointment.

You'll never be talked into a lift your hair can't take, or a custom color that won't hold. The healthier route may be slower, but it's the only one that gets you what you actually want: hair that looks, feels and lasts well.
